Gulf Coast Fabricators, LLC. (GCF) located in Beaumont, TX is an 80,000+ s/f pipe fabrication facility that has been in operation since 1994 and employs over 135 employees. GCF specializing in all types of carbon steels and alloy fabrication for the petro-chemical and power generation markets and has ships spools through-out the USA and some international.
GCF uses both the C5A and C8H Chamfermate from MSI in its cutting bay for putting a machine bevels on pipe lengths that will be welded-out with the GTAW (TIG) welding process. In the past theses pipes were cut using either oxygen/acetylene or plasma torches and required additional grinding for clean-up and squaring to give a uniform bevel prep.

The ChamferMate® Model C5A pipe beveling machine has a 5” inch OD capacity and is ideally used for chamfering pipe, deburring or beveling pipe and chamfering tubing up to 3/8” wall thickness.
The ChamferMate® Model C8H is a heavy duty hydraulic powered pipe beveling machine with up to 8-3/4” OD capacity. With 20 HP, the C8H has the power to machine weld bevels and other forms on the end of heavy wall pipe and tubing within its range.
